Thalassemia detailed information
Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder characterized by less hemoglobin and fewer red blood cells in your body than normal. Hemoglobin is the substance in your red blood cells that allows them to carry oxygen. The low hemoglobin and fewer red blood cells of thalassemia may cause anemia, leaving you fatigued.  Symptoms Thalassemia signs and symptoms may include:       Fatigue        Weakness       Pale or yellowish skin       Facial bone deformities        Slow growth         Abdominal swelling         Dark urine   Causes Thalassemia is caused by mutations in the DNA of cells that make hemoglobin   the substance in your red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout your body. The mutations associated with thalassemia are passed from parents to children. Thalassemia disrupts the normal production of hemoglobin and healthy red blood cells. This causes anemia. With anemia, your blood doesn't have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen to your tissues  leaving you fatigued. Types of thalassemia The type of thalassemia you have depends on the number of gene mutations you inherit from your parents and which part of the hemoglobin molecule is affected by the mutations. The more mutated genes, the more severe your thalassemia. Hemoglobin molecules are made of alpha and beta parts that can be affected by mutations.   Alpha-thalassemia Four genes are involved in making the alpha hemoglobin chain. You get two from each of your parents. If you inherit:      1 mutated gene, you'll have no signs or symptoms of thalassemia. But you are a carrier of the disease and can pass it on to your children.      2 mutated genes, your thalassemia signs and symptoms will be mild. This condition may be called alpha-thalassemia trait.        3 mutated genes, your signs and symptoms will be moderate to severe.       4 mutated genes. This type is rare. Affected fetuses have severe anemia and usually are stillborn. Babies born with this condition often die shortly after birth or require lifelong    Thalassemia minor or beta-thalassemia Two genes are involved in making the beta hemoglobin chain. You get one from each of your parents. If you inherit:      1 mutated gene, you'll have mild signs and symptoms. This condition is called thalassemia minor or beta-thalassemia.       2 mutated genes, your signs and symptoms will be moderate to severe. This condition is called thalassemia major, or Cooley anemia. Babies born with two defective beta hemoglobin genes usually are healthy at birth but develop signs and symptoms within the first two years of life. A milder form, called thalassemia intermedia, also may occur with two mutated genes. Risk factors Factors that increase your risk of thalassemia include: Family history of thalassemia.Thalassemia is passed from parents to children through mutated hemoglobin genes. If you have a family history of thalassemia, you may have an increased risk of the condition.   Complications Possible complications of thalassemia include: Iron overload.People with thalassemia can get too much iron in their bodies, either from the disease or from frequent blood transfusions. Too much iron can result in damage to your heart, liver and endocrine system. People with thalassemia have an increased risk of infection. This is especially true if you've had your spleen removed. In cases of severe thalassemia, the following complications can occur: Bone deformities.Thalassemia can make your bone marrow expand, which causes your bones to widen. This can result in abnormal bone structure, especially in your face and skull. Bone marrow expansion also makes bones thin and brittle, increasing the chance of broken bones. Enlarged spleen (splenomegaly). The spleen helps your body fight infection and filter unwanted material, such as old or damaged blood cells. Thalassemia is often accompanied by the destruction of a large number of red blood cells. This causes your spleen to enlarge and work harder than normal. Splenomegaly can make anemia worse, and it can reduce the life of transfused red blood cells. Slowed growth rates.Anemia can cause a child's growth to slow. And thalassemia may cause a delay in puberty. Heart problems.Heart problems   such as congestive heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias)   may be associated with severe thalassemia.

Anaemia management through homeopathy
Anemia is a condition in which you don't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body's tissues. Having anemia may make you feel tired and weak. What red blood cells do Your body makes three types of blood cells  white blood cells to fight infection, platelets to help your blood clot and red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout your body. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin  an iron-rich protein that gives blood its red color. Hemoglobin enables red blood cells to carry oxygen from your lungs to all parts of your body and to carry carbon dioxide from other parts of the body to your lungs so that it can be exhaled. Most blood cells, including red blood cells, are produced regularly in your bone marrow   a spongy material found within the cavities of many of your large bones. To produce hemoglobin and red blood cells, your body needs iron, vitamin B-12, folate and other nutrients from the foods you eat. There are many forms of anemia, each with its own cause. Anemia can be temporary or long term, and it can range from mild to severe.Symptoms Anemia signs and symptoms vary depending on the cause of your anemia. They may include:       Fatigue       Weakness        Pale or yellowish skin        Irregular heartbeats         Shortness of breath         Dizziness or lightheadedness         Chest pain        Cold hands and feet        Headache At first anemia can be so mild that it goes unnoticed. But symptoms worsen as anemia worsens.   Causes of anemia Anemia occurs when your blood doesn't have enough red blood cells. This can happen if:       Your body doesn't make enough red blood cells       Bleeding causes you to lose red blood cells more quickly than they can be replaced        Your body destroys red blood cells   Different types of anemia and their causes include:       Iron deficiency anemia. This is the most common type of anemia worldwide. Iron deficiency anemia is caused by a shortage of iron in your body. Your bone marrow needs iron to make hemoglobin. Without adequate iron, your body can't produce enough hemoglobin for red blood cells. This type of anemia occurs in many pregnant women. It is also caused by blood loss, such as from heavy menstrual bleeding, an ulcer, cancer and regular use of some over-the-counter pain relievers, especially aspirin.          Vitamin deficiency anemia.         In addition to iron, your body needs folate and vitamin B-12 to produce enough healthy red blood cells. A diet lacking in these and other key nutrients can cause decreased red blood cell production. Additionally, some people may consume enough B-12, but their bodies aren't able to process the vitamin. This can lead to vitamin deficiency anemia, also known as pernicious anemia.      Anemia of chronic disease.Certain diseases  such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disease, Crohn's disease and other chronic inflammatory diseases  can interfere with the production of red blood cells.      Aplastic anemia. This rare, life-threatening anemia occurs when your body doesn't produce enough red blood cells. Causes of aplastic anemia include infections, certain medicines, autoimmune diseases and exposure to toxic chemicals.      Anemias associated with bone marrow disease.A variety of diseases, such as leukemia and myelofibrosis, can cause anemia by affecting blood production in your bone marrow. The effects of these types of cancer and cancer-like disorders vary from mild to life-threatening.       Hemolytic anemias. This group of anemias develops when red blood cells are destroyed faster than bone marrow can replace them. Certain blood diseases increase red blood cell destruction. You can inherit a hemolytic anemia, or you can develop it later in life.       Sickle cell anemia. This inherited and sometimes serious condition is an inherited hemolytic anemia. It's caused by a defective form of hemoglobin that forces red blood cells to assume an abnormal crescent (sickle) shape. These irregular blood cells die prematurely, resulting in a chronic shortage of red blood cells.       Other anemias. There are several other forms of anemia, such as thalassemia and malarial anemia. Warts /plantar warts curative Treatment in homeopathy
A wart is a small growth with a rough texture that can appear anywhere on the body. It can look like a solid blister or a small cauliflower. Warts are caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. The appearance of a wart depends on its location on the body and the thickness of the skin. Palmar warts appear on the hand. Plantar warts affect the feet. People with a weakened immune system are more likely to have warts. Causes HPV viruses cause the excessive and rapid growth of keratin, which is a hard protein on the top layer of the skin. Different HPV strains cause different warts. The wart-causing virus can be passed on by close skin-to-skin contact, and through contact with towels or shoes. The virus can spread to other parts of the body through:         scratching or biting a wart          sucking fingers          biting fingernails, if there are warts around the nails          shaving the face or legs        Having wet or damaged skin, and coming into contact with rough surfaces increase the risk of           infection. Types of warts- The following are the most common types of wart. Common warts, or verruca vulgaris Common warts have a firm, raised, rough surface and may appear cauliflower-like. They can occur anywhere, but they are most common on the knuckles, fingers, elbows, knees, and any area with broken skin. Clotted blood vessels are often visible in common warts as small, darkened spots. These are known as seed warts.   Plantar warts Painful verrucae appear on the soles of the feet, heels, and toes. They usually grow into the skin because the person's weight pushes onto the sole of the foot. They normally have a small central black dot surrounded by hard, white tissue. Plantar warts are often difficult to clear. Plane warts, or verruca plana Plane warts are round, flat, and smooth. They can be yellowish, brownish, or skin colored. Also known as flat warts, they grow most often on sun-exposed areas. They tend to grow in larger numbers, possibly between 20 and 100.DiagnosisA well qualified doctor will diagnose from clinical examination.PrognosisIt is curable with homeopathic treatment. Since how long you are suffering from disease, has to do a lot with treatment plan. Osteoarthritis (OA) treatment in homeopathy
A joint is where two bones come together. The ends of these bones are covered with protective tissue called cartilage. Cartilage is a protein substance that serves as a "cushion" between the bones of the joints.  Osteoarthritis is a form of arthritis that features the breakdown and eventual loss of the cartilage of one or more joints. Among the over 100 different types of arthritis conditions, osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease. This can cause pain, stiffness, and other symptoms. . OA is called degenerative joint disease, degenerative arthritis, and wear-and-tear arthritis. Osteoarthritis occurs more frequently as we age. Before age 45, osteoarthritis occurs morefrequently in males. After 45 years of age, it occurs more frequently in females. OA can occur in any joint. However, the most commonly affected areas of the body include the:       hands       fingertips        knees        hips        spine, typically at the neck or lower back Osteoarthritis commonly affects the hands, feet, spine, and the large weight-bearing joints, such as the hips and knees, although in theory, any joint in the body can be affected. As osteoarthritis progresses, movement patterns (such as gait), are typically affected. Osteoarthritis is the most common cause of a joint effusion of the knee. The most common symptoms of osteoarthritis include:      pain      tenderness (discomfort when pressing on the area with your fingers)      stiffness      inflammation       The main symptom is pain, causing loss of ability and often stiffness. The pain is typically made worse by prolonged activity and relieved by rest.      Stiffness is most common in the morning, and typically lasts less than thirty minutes after beginning daily activities, but may return after periods of inactivity. Osteoarthritis can cause a crackling noise (called "crepitus") when the affected joint is moved, especially shoulder and knee joint.       A person may also complain of joint locking and joint instability. These symptoms would affect their daily activities due to pain and stiffness.  Some people report increased pain associated with cold temperature, high humidity, or a drop in barometric pressure, but studies have had mixed results.   Causes of osteoarthritis OA is caused by joint damage. This damage can accumulate over time, which is why age is one of the main causes of the joint damage leading to osteoarthritis. The older you are, the more wear and tear you've had on your joints. Other causes of joint damage include past injury, such as:        torn cartilage        dislocated joints        ligament injuries They also include joint malformation, obesity, and poor posture. Certain risk factors, such as family history and gender, increase your risk of osteoarthritisDiagnosisA well qualified doctor will diagnose from clinical examination.X RAY and MRI  will tell about osteoarthritis.PrognosisIt is curable with homeopathic treatment. Since how long you are suffering from disease, has to do a lot with treatment plan. Diabetes and homeopathic treatment
Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It's also your brain's main source of fuel. The underlying cause of diabetes varies by type. But, no matter what type of diabetes you have, it can lead to excess sugar in your blood. Too much sugar in your blood can lead to serious health problems.Chronic diabetes conditions include type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Potentially reversible diabetes conditions include prediabetes  when your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes  and gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy but may resolve after the baby is delivered.@Credit to immunology.orgSymptomsDiabetes symptoms vary depending on how much your blood sugar is elevated. Some people, especially those with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, may not experience symptoms initially. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms tend to come on quickly and be more severe. Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are:·       Increased thirst·       Frequent urination·       Extreme hunger·       Unexplained weight loss·       Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there's not enough available insul!n)·       Fatigue·       Irritability·       Blurred vision·       Slow-healing sores·       Frequent infections, such as gums or skin infections and vaginal infectionsType 1 diabetes can develop at any age, though it often appears during childhood or adolescence. Type 2 diabetes, the more common type, can develop at any age, though it's more common in people older than 40.When to see a doctor·       If you suspect you or your child may have diabetes. If you notice any possible diabetes symptoms, contact your doctor. The earlier the condition is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can begin.·       If you've already been diagnosed with diabetes. After you receive your diagnosis, you'll need close medical follow-up until your blood sugar levels stabilize. CausesTo understand diabetes, first you must understand how glucose is normally processed in the body. The role of glucoseGlucose  a sugar   is a source of energy for the cells that make up muscles and other tissues.·       Glucose comes from two major sources: food and your liver.·       Sugar is absorbed into the bloodstream, where it enters cells with the help of insul!n.·       Your liver stores and makes glucose.·       When your glucose levels are low, such as when you haven't eaten in a while, the liver breaks down stored glycogen into glucose to keep your glucose level within a normal range.Causes of type 1 diabetesThe exact cause of type 1 diabetes is unknown. What is known is that your immune system  which normally fights harmful bacteria or viruses  attacks and destroys your insul!n-producing cells in the pancreas. This leaves you with little or no insul!n. Instead of being transported into your cells, sugar builds up in your bloodstream.Type 1 is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic susceptibility and environmental factors, though exactly what those factors are is still unclear. Weight is not believed to be a factor in type 1 diabetes.Causes of prediabetes and type 2 diabetesIn prediabetes  which can lead to type 2 diabetes  and in type 2 diabetes, your cells become resistant to the action of insul!n, and your pancreas is unable to make enough insul!n to overcome this resistance. Instead of moving into your cells where it's needed for energy, sugar builds up in your bloodstream.Exactly why this happens is uncertain, although it's believed that genetic and environmental factors play a role in the development of type 2 diabetes too. Being overweight is strongly linked to the development of type 2 diabetes, but not everyone with type 2 is overweight.Causes of gestational diabetesNormally, your pancreas responds by producing enough extra insul!n to overcome this resistance. But sometimes your pancreas can't keep up. When this happens, too little glucose gets into your cells and too much stays in your blood, resulting in gestational diabetes.Risk factorsRisk factors for diabetes depend on the type of diabetes.Risk factors for type 1 diabetesAlthough the exact cause of type 1 diabetes is unknown, factors that may signal an increased risk include:@credit to labiotech.eu·       Family history. Your risk increases if a parent or sibling has type 1 diabetes.·       Environmental factors. Circumstances such as exposure to a viral illness likely play some role in type 1 diabetes.·       The presence of damaging immune system cells (autoantibodies). Sometimes family members of people with type 1 diabetes are tested for the presence of diabetes autoantibodies. If you have these autoantibodies, you have an increased risk of developing type 1 diabetes. But not everyone who has these autoantibodies develops diabetes.·       Geography. Certain countries, such as Finland and Sweden, have higher rates of type 1 diabetes. Risk factors for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes@credit to onhealth.comResearchers don't fully understand why some people develop prediabetes and type 2 diabetes and others don't. It's clear that certain factors increase the risk, however, including:·       Weight. The more fatty tissue you have, the more resistant your cells become to insul!n.·       Inactivity. The less active you are, the greater your risk. Physical activity helps you control your weight, uses up glucose as energy and makes your cells more sensitive to insul!n.·       Family history. Your risk increases if a parent or sibling has type 2 diabetes.·       Race. Although it's unclear why, people of certain races — including black people, Hispanics, American Indians and Asian-Americans — are at higher risk.·       Age. Your risk increases as you get older. This may be because you tend to exercise less, lose muscle mass and gain weight as you age. But type 2 diabetes is also increasing among children, adolescents and younger adults.·       Gestational diabetes. If you developed gestational diabetes when you were pregnant, your risk of developing prediabetes and type 2 diabetes later increases. If you gave birth to a baby weighing more than 9 pounds (4 kilograms), you're also at risk of type 2 diabetes.·       Polycystic ovary syndrome. For women, having polycystic ovary syndrome  a common condition characterized by irregular menstrual periods, excess hair growth and obesity  increases the risk of diabetes.·       High blood pressure. Having blood pressure over 140/90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) is linked to an increased risk of type 2 diabetes.                                                                                                         ·       Abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride levels. If you have low levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or "good," cholesterol, your risk of type 2 diabetes is higher. Triglycerides are another type of fat carried in the blood. People with high levels of triglycerides have an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. Your doctor can let you know what your cholesterol and triglyceride levels are.Risk factors for gestational diabetesAny pregnant woman can develop gestational diabetes, but some women are at greater risk than are others. Risk factors for gestational diabetes include:·       Age. Women older than age 25 are at increased risk.·       Family or personal history. Your risk increases if you have prediabetes a precursor to type 2 diabetes  or if a close family member, such as a parent or sibling, has type 2 diabetes. You're also at greater risk if you had gestational diabetes during a previous pregnancy, if you delivered a very large baby or if you had an unexplained stillbirth.·       Weight. Being overweight before pregnancy increases your risk.PrognosisIt can be managed with homeopathic treatment. Since how long you are suffering from disease, has to do a lot with treatment plan. No matter, since when are you suffering from your disease either from recent time or since many years -everything is manageable with us but in early stage of disease, you will be managed faster.
